About the Comic

I can’t reveal too much about the comic itself without spoiling it! But eventually summaries of the two main characters will go here. For now, I’d like to dedicate a little spot of this page to the partial inspiration for both Mag and Id, who died on January 20, 2007:

Id’s insatiable curiousity and impetuousness comes from her. Oddly enough, so does Mag’s inherent fear of anything she’s never seen before. Crackers was such an odd little bird, but wonderful, and I miss her very much. Rest in peace my little baby bird.

About the Blog

This blog (as of this writing) is shiny and new, but my hopes are to have Monday updates in addition to Friday’s comic days.  Those updates will mostly be about art, though I may occasionally wax poetic on other subjects such as books or movies.  More specifically speaking on the art subject, I’d like to include things like tutorials, an ‘art clinic’ where I help other artists on specific images, and essays on art in general.  While I don’t consider myself an expert on art by any stretch of the imagination, I hope I’ll be able to help people out a little bit.

About the Artist

My name is Renee, but in Internet-land I can also be called Maggock.  I’m a 25 year old college graduate working as a graphics illustrator for my local library.   In my free time I also do a ton of art, and the fruits of part of my labors you can see here in Inner Space.
